Are you showing up in meaningful ways in your relationship, at work, as a parent, as a friend, in valued domains?
What's Showing up for you? Anxiety? Stress? Conflict? Sadness? Loss? Disappointment? Shame? Guilt? Grief? Fear?
Being human, we tend to show up in domains that matter in ways that are less than ideal because school, higher education and the workplace are not arenas that can teach us how to navigate the biopsychosocial world skilfully and proactively.
Life brings experiences that can feel unmanageable, confusing and difficult to live from time to time.
We can find ourselves navigating tricky internal events and behaving in ways that are less than ideal, in part because in these instances, we are confronted with gaps in our psychological, emotional and interpersonal skill-sets.
If you are ready to commit yourself to showing up in valued life domains (e.g., in life, at work, at play, in sport, in significant relationships) more skilfully and in ways that matter to you, please reach out and email or message me.

I will do my utmost to listen to you and support you with finding a personally meaningful way forward.
My name is Dr Desiree Scarpellini, I am a professionally-trained, experienced listener and agent for change.
I have been offering confidential psychotherapy and counselling to adult individuals, couples and groups for over a decade.
I am committed to offering a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic environment online and in-person (face to face therapy is currently suspended until further notice in context of Covid-19 ambiguities).
Therapy with me is formulated around you and your needs; I offer open-ended sessions, time-limited therapy sessions, as well as 'ad hoc' or one-off consultations.
Please note: Therapy is not a magic wand. Your commitment to the process is of utmost importance.
It is also important to take time to exercise your right to choose the therapist that is a good fit for you—someone you can trust, who keeps you in mind, and who makes you feel supported and understood.
As a therapist, I view therapy as a collaborative relationship and as such I will be expecting you to be working with me throughout the process so that you leave with a sense of ownership over the changes that you achieve in this context.
I specialise in helping my clients to identify and achieve personal development goals (e.g. self-awareness, compassion, mindfulness, emotion regulation), to overcome mental health problems, and to find fulfilment in relationships that matter.
My broad aims can be described in the following way:
1. To offer a consistent, confidential and validating space.
2. To support you with making sense of and/or overcoming distressing mental health presentations or repetitive cycles.
3. To help with identifying what matters to you, so that you enact behaviours that enhance your life in personally meaningful ways.
4. To provide a space where you can gain a sense of expertise with taking good care of yourself and your relationships.
I can help you with:
Additional Services include:
Mindfulness and Attention Training for individuals and groups
I offer time-limited group workshops that can be tailored to your organisations particular needs. For example, I offer experiential Mindfulness-based courses and workshops that can enhance workplace well-being, productivity and emotion regulation.
Are you showing up as a sensual, desirable, and sexual being in ways that are playful, fulfilling, pleasurable and meaningful to you?
Being human, from time to time what can show up for us is a gap between how we would prefer to express our sexuality, and our capacity to do so.
If this is you, and you are ready to learn, experiment with and develop yourself as a sexual being, reach out to me.
You can reach me by email via email@example.com
